Privacy statement
TrendyTrades, a Dutch general partnership (KVK number 42167712), is responsible for the personal data we receive through this website and by email.
Visiting the website
To show a page and keep the website secure, our server processes technical data such as your IP address and the page you request. We do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, working website. If this data ends up in a log file, for example after a fault, we keep it only as long as needed to investigate the fault or misuse.
Cookies
We use no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies and load nothing from other parties. If you choose a language yourself, we remember that choice for a year in a cookie. If you choose the light theme, your browser remembers it itself; that choice is never sent to us. No consent is needed for this, as both only remember a choice you made.
If you email us, we use your name, email address and message to reply and to prepare a possible partnership. We do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in business contact and, if it leads to an agreement, because that agreement requires it. We keep the emails for as long as the contact or partnership continues. Anything that forms part of our business records, such as what was agreed in a contract, we keep for seven years, as the law requires.
Who processes the data
The website runs on an OVHcloud server in France, which we manage with Ploi; our email runs through Microsoft. They process the data only on our instructions. Microsoft stores our email in the EU but may process limited data in the United States for security and support, under the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Beyond that, we pass on your data only where the law requires us to.
Your rights
Depending on the situation, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or transfer your data, or to restrict its processing. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Email us to do so; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your country.
